The LPR module not only reads and recognizes license plate information automatically from passing vehicles, but it also logs the information with the accompanying snapshots. All of this vehicle information is searchable using time or license plate information and it can then be transmitted to multiple users simultaneously. The LPR module is effective to enforce parking permits or time-limited zone rules and to conduct lot inventories.
The software already support optimized recognition algorithms for more than 50 countries around the world and has been used for a variety of private and commercial applications.

One of the major benefits that the Turbo HD line offers is a very low price point for consumers looking to buy a security system. This is true both for those building new systems, and those upgrading existing ones. For businesses that already have an existing legacy coax cable network, but don't wish to lose their investment by installing an entirely new IP camera system, Turbo HD offers a fantastic way to utilise this existing infrastructure and upgrade to a fully modern HD system. The cameras do not require any new or special cables - they are able to provide 1080p video using existing coax.
For new customers, Turbo HD offers a fantastic option for those on a budget. The cameras themselves are very cost-effective whilst still providing lots of utility, and this means that a home-owner or small business owner can still purchase a fully HD, multi-camera system, at a price-point that previously wouldn't have been available. This is great news for consumers and further opens up security to wider range of people than was previously possible - lowering the barrier to entry and allowing more people to keep their property safe.
Turbo HD 3.0 retains the ease-of-use of an analog system while offering up to 5MP video and makes high-definition surveillance systems possible without replacing existing cabling or switching to IP cameras. Turbo HD 3.0 uses HDTVI technology, eliminating compatibility issues whenever you have to mix old technology with new products, and making installation simple and cost-effective.
IP CCTV works by turning images and audio into data then transmitting this data over a network or Internet connection. The ultimate benefit of this over analogue CCTV systems is greater flexibility, better performance and easier installation.
Whilst IP CCTV has been available for around 10 years, it is only in the last few years that the technology has matured, leading to the developments in Megapixel IP. Read below for a summary on the benefits of using IP based systems over traditional analogue systems.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Cameras are used to read the registration plates of vehicles passing through the CCTV Cameras field of vision, even in the vehicle is moving. This can be used to log vehicles entering or exiting a specific area, or when linked to a barrier system, can be used to open gates and barriers to pre-authorised vehicles.
ANPR CCTV Cameras differ from standard CCTV cameras by using a process known as Optical Character Recognition, or OCR. OCR is software that runs on your CCTV System in harmony with the ANPR CCTV Camera.
Where a regular camera will process an image as a whole, an ANPR camera will analyse the pixels within the image, and 'decide' if those pixels form a character or not. This process will happen multiple times as a vehicle approaches to eliminate any errors. This data is then logged, and can be used for reporting purposes, or referenced within a database to trigger a response - such as a barrier opening, or alerting security.
